Stop everything! MAP has already confirmed when the 2025 kite exhibition will begin. The patio of the precinct will be filled with vibrant colors and original designs in its eighteenth edition. Let’s remember that the pieces presented are part of a contest, which has already opened its call for entries. We tell you about it.
The competition is open to the participation of anti-sanxs who present kites made of paper, fabric and natural materials. The design is free and the size limit of the piece is 6 meters. Year after year we are surprised by new figures and themes that reveal the talent of those who participate. 🪁
There are three winning kites that receive an incentive of 10, 15 and 20 thousand pesos! Also, ten contestants get honorable mention, plus ten thousand pesos. The jury will give its final verdict on February 22 at 12:00 noon at the museum. If you want to participate, you can consult the call for entries here.

Remember that the Museo de Arte Popular is located at 📍 Revillagigedo 11, Centro, Cuauhtémoc. You can visit it 🕛 Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00; take into account that the general admission has a cost of $60, however, on Sunday the entrance is free.
