Can you imagine wandering the streets of Mexico City while characters from the past tell you their stories? This Day of the Dead, you can take a “Legends” tram tour through the Roma-Condesa neighborhood—a nighttime experience that combines historical tales, mystery, and costumed characters. And we already have the dates!
The Tourist Tram will offer this special activity on October 24, 25, 30, and 31, as well as November 1 and 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. The cost will be $400 per person.
What’s interesting is that it’s not just about taking a ride through one of the capital’s best-known neighborhoods, but about discovering some of the stories that are part of its past.
The Countess of Miravalle will be your guide on this tour of legends
During the tour, the Countess of Miravalle and her confessor will accompany passengers to share stories that have stood the test of time.
And there’s a fun fact behind this experience: the name of the Condesa neighborhood is related to the former Hacienda de Santa Catarina del Arenal, historically linked to the family of the Counts of Miravalle.
In fact, María Magdalena Dávalos de Bracamontes y Orozco was the third Countess of Miravalle, a figure who is part of the history of this area of Mexico City.
So, in addition to hearing legends, this tour will give you a glimpse into the past of a neighborhood that we now know for its restaurants, parks, cafes, and architecture.
