You will arrive at a modern bistro; with industrial design, dim lights and ample space (a quality that we always appreciate when we want an intimate moment and a long after-dinner conversation).
On the menu: recipes, flavors and techniques of French cuisine that are prepared with the ingredients and knowledge of Mexican cuisine. We recommend ordering the tasting menu for a representative sample.
Chef Raúl Valencia is in charge of the seasoning. The dishes are a combination of creativity with colors, flavors and textures. This restaurant will surprise you from breakfast to dinner, our favorite time to visit.
And at night the place is magical; the experience goes up a notch if you try one of the drinks prepared by Daniel Reyes, former cocktail maker at Baltra and creator of the drinks menu at Mi Compa Chava. The cocktails are guaranteed to be spectacular.
About Lempicka’s Gallery
This restaurant pays homage to painter Tamara de Lempicka, who paved the way for the Art Deco style in Mexico in the early 20th century. So you’ll see hints of this Parisian trend in the design and architecture of the space.
The walls display works by different artists, including two pieces by Pedro Friedeberg (unmistakable for their surrealist expression and the architectural design of the figures). Of course, these and the other paintings on display are for sale.
Of course, it has to be coordinated in advance. If you are in the mood to buy something, we recommend contacting Lempicka to schedule a special visit with the curatorial team. Please note that the works will be changed periodically.
