We already know what the UNAM Megaofrenda 2025 will be like. This year it will be called “Huellas de Nuestra Historia” (Traces of Our History) and will be focused on migration. You will be able to visit it for three days.
Day of the Dead is about to arrive. Every year, during this time, there are countless activities in Mexico City, such as the monumental ofrenda in the Zocalo, the Mega Procession of Catrinas and even a Zombie March.
In addition, the UNAM holds the University Festival of the Day of the Dead, which has as its main activity the traditional Megaofrenda. We bring you all the details about it.
This is what the UNAM Megaofrenda 2025 will look like.

According to the official website of the event, the UNAM’s offering of 2025 will be titled “Traces of our history. Migrations, exile, refuge and displacement”. The central theme will be migration and everything surrounding this phenomenon.
This 2025 will be installed in the esplanade of the Universum Museum (Circuito Cultural, Ciudad Universitaria S/N, Coyoacán). You can visit it from 11:00 to 21:00 hours from October 31 to November 1 and 2.
In addition to the Day of the Dead offering at UNAM, this festival includes other activities such as a skull contest, a story contest about migratory experiences, as well as a video short film contest, according to the event’s website.
