Do you already know what the Metro schedule will be during Easter Week? Take note because this weekend the CDMX public transportation will operate with different schedules. Here’s everything you need to know.
Vacations are finally here and there will be a lot to do in Mexico City. For example, the Forest Festival, the Great Book Auction and there will even be a tribute to José José.
Before you head out, take a look at the public transportation schedule during Easter Week, which will apply on Thursday, April 17, Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19.
This is how the Metro schedule will be during Easter Week
According to information from Mexico City’s Secretariat of Mobility, the Metro will operate from 7:00 to 00:00 hours on April 17 and 18(Good Friday), as well as from 6:00 to 00:00 hours on Saturday, April 19. The support service on Line 1 will also operate during these hours.
Regarding Metrobus, the service schedule will be from 4:30 to 00:00 hours on April 17 and 19, and from 5:00 to 00:00 hours on Friday, April 18. As for the rest of the public transportation of the CDMX it will be as follows:
- RTP: April 17 and 18 from 5:00 a.m. to 00:00 a.m. and on April 19 from 6:00 a.m. to 00:00 a.m.
- Tren Ligero: service from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on April 17 and from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on April 18 and 19.
- Trolleybus: service will be from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on April 17, 18 and 19.
- Elevated Trolleybus: will operate from 5:00 a.m. to 00:00 a.m. on all three days.
- Aztecas Trolleybus: will operate from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on April 17 to 19.
- Cablebus: will operate from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Thursday April 17 and from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on April 18 and 19
- Ecobici: will operate from 5:30 a.m. to 00:30 a.m. on all three days.
