The Los Pinos Cultural Complex, located in the first section of Chapultepec Forest, will host a Mexican-French food festival. Over the course of two days, you’ll sample iconic dishes and enjoy other activities such as live music, workshops, and a picnic.
From September 1 to November 30, the Great Franco-Mexican Festival will be held, an event packed with activities to commemorate 200 years of friendship between France and Mexico.
The program includes activities in Mexico City and other states across the country, such as Monterrey. We’ll enjoy artistic and cultural performances; the Palacio de Bellas Artes will even host 40 works from the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
But that’s not all; there will also be culinary events celebrating the cuisines of both countries. Take note.
When will the Mexico-France culinary festival take place?
According to the event’s official website, the “¡Qué gusto! A Gastronomic Celebration of France and Mexico” festival will take place on November 28 and 29, 2026, at the Los Pinos Cultural Complex.
Traditional cooks and chefs will present dishes representative of Mexico, which will incorporate elements of French cuisine. On November 29, there will even be a picnic featuring artistic performances and many surprises.
The full program and the list of dishes to be served have not yet been announced; however, it has been revealed that attendees will find products such as cheeses, desserts, cider, wine, and specialty items, all at varying prices.
