Before the month ends, Mexico City offers us an artistic evening in which different cultural spaces close their doors late… We’re talking about Museum Night in February 2026!
This edition will take place on Wednesday, February 25, with a special program that includes documentary screenings, an opera gala, chocolate workshops, a retro party, and more.
Here is a list of options that will keep you out of the house, so take a nap and get ready for a very busy night full of surprises.

The National Museum of World Cultures presents the concert “The cultures of the museum, their music and their languages,” with pieces from Japan, China, France, and Korea, directed by DJ Mario Hernández Luna. Admission is free and capacity is limited to 100 people, so we recommend arriving early.
Casa del Risco Museum

Find an outfit from the 70s and 80s! At this venue, you will enjoy “Retro Night,” a celebration that will take you back in time through the music of DJ Shaft; there will be art, costumes, and much more.

Sing, overcome, and meet people at Franz Mayer’s “Night of the Almost Something.“
Here you can let your feelings out at the karaoke bar, take a special tour of the premises, or enjoy a screening of short films.
If you’re feeling spiteful, share your canonical event on the migajero wall and join in the fun of erasing your ex from the photo. You can also meet people through speed dating.

Palace of Autonomy

This venue will pay tribute to actress Yolanda Montes, Tongolele, on the first anniversary of her death.
You can watch the screening of the documentary Historias de vida. Yolanda Montes “Tongolele, “ which will be discussed. At 8:30 p.m., there will be a special presentation by Malinches cabaret.

Tequila and Mezcal Museum

Luis Enrique Erro Planetarium

This venue will host Rocket and Star Night, which offers an experience that combines astronomical theory with hands-on learning.
The activities are divided into three main areas: themed tours of the galleries and Casa Tierra, interactive workshops on the esplanade, where attendees can design hydro rockets and simulate Martian crops, and scientific experiences focused on DNA and electricity.
Starting at 6:00 p.m., there will be astronomical observation and talks about meteorites in the back garden, closing with group activities that bring the whole community together around the study of the cosmos.
National Museum of the Revolution

Museum of Popular Art

The Museum of Popular Art is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and since there is no party without music, the Sinaloa Band of the Ministry of Public Safety will set the mood with their music.
If you like to dance to the rhythm of banda music, you can’t miss this great show. Remember that monumental kites are currently on display in the courtyard of the museum. Admission to see them usually costs money, but on this occasion, access will be free. Take advantage of this opportunity to discover these pieces!
