The date is in San Juan Tlacotenco, Tepoztlán, Morelos, where the third edition of the Mushroom Festival will be held, an event that has established itself as one of the most unique in the state.
Located in the majestic Bosque de Agua, this festival pays tribute to mushrooms, essential beings for the health of ecosystems and deeply rooted in Mexican tradition. Not only as food, but also for their role in ancestral medicine, indigenous spirituality and modern ecology.
For two days, attendees can enjoy an exhibition of mushrooms, a photographic exhibition, and the famous Mercahongo, a local market with products derived from mushrooms, honey, nopal, handicrafts and gastronomic delicacies.
The traditional cuisine around the fungi world will have a stellar role, with dishes that exalt the flavor and versatility of these millenary organisms.

One of the most awaited moments will be the drawing contests in children and youth categories, as well as the traditional cooking contest, which every year surprises with innovative recipes and authentic flavors.
