Although we are still in November, the Christmas atmosphere is already in the air and even in the streets of Mexico City. This weekend we woke up to the surprise that there are already poinsettias on Paseo de la Reforma and other streets in Mexico City.
Every year, during the Christmas season, thousands of poinsettias are installed in the streets of Mexico City (last year there were 220 thousand flowers). One of the streets where they are placed is Paseo de la Reforma.
It is almost a tradition to take pictures with the poinsettias and the Angel of Independence in the background. You can even take advantage of the sunset to take incredible shots.
Until when will the poinsettias be on Paseo de la Reforma?
Although they are placed every year, there is no exact date when they are put up or taken down. What is certain is that they remain throughout the Christmas season; so you still have several weeks to see them and take all the pictures you want.
In fact, Paseo de la Reforma will also host another Christmas-related event. On Saturday, November 30, there will be a Christmas parade called Bolo Fest. There will be carolers, you will see Santa Claus and monumental balloons.
The event is free. It will leave from the Monumento a la Revolución and will conclude in the surroundings of the Diana Cazadora. Tell the kids and don’t miss it.
