Do you already know what are the new prices for museums in CDMX for 2025? Take note because some museums have new costs! Prepare everything for your next visit.
Every year the prices of certain places and services are updated, including the entrance to some archaeological sites and museums, such as the Anthropology and Chapultepec Castle, which increased their prices by $5.
According to a press release from the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) these new prices will be valid from January 1 to December 31, 2025.
It is worth mentioning that INAH covers 193 archeological sites, as well as 165 museums throughout the country. Take a look at the prices.
New museum prices in 2025
Regarding some INAH museums located in Mexico City, these are the updated admission prices for 2025:
- National Museum of World Cultures: $75.
- El Carmen Museum: $80
- National Museum of Anthropology: $100
- National Museum of History (Chapultepec Castle): $100
- Caracol Museum: $100
- National Museum of Interventions: $100
As for archaeological sites in CDMX or nearby:
- Tlatelolco Archaeological Zone: $80
- Teotihuacan: $100
- Templo Mayor: $100
As you can see the cost of access to some sites had a slight increase, while in other cases the price remained the same as last year.
It is important to mention that some museums have free admission on Sundays. Such is the case of Templo Mayor, Museo Nacional de Antropología, Castillo de Chapultepec, Museo Tamayo and Museo Nacional de San Carlos, to mention a few. Take advantage of the weekend to visit these museums.
