The event called “Perreo Picnic” was scheduled to take place this Sunday, March 22, at Lago Algo, a venue located in Chapultepec Forest. Sonido La Changa was set to perform alongside other groups and artists; however, the event has been canceled at that location.
This was announced by Chapultepec Forest in the following statement.
Sonido La Changa Internacional announced on social media that the event will be moved to Mr. Duck, located on 16 de Septiembre Street in the Historic District.
Don’t think you’ll be left wanting to dance, because the Gran Baile de Sonideros y Sonideras is still on at the Zócalo in Mexico City; you can check the lineup and schedule here.
