The 2023-2024 school year is still a few weeks away; however, now is a good time to start planning your next trip or even your next school holiday graduation. Check when Summer Vacation 2024 begins.
Time flies by and in the blink of an eye we’re already in may. You’re probably already thinking about the vacations, so we bring you some dates that may interest you.
when is summer vacation 2024?
According to the official calendar of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), the 2023-2024 school year ends next Tuesday, July 16, which means that as of Wednesday, July 17, the kids will be on vacation. So far it is not known when they will return to classes, as the calendar for the next school term has not been published.
And while we’re on the subject of days off for the children before vacation, you should know that before the vacations there will be two sessions of the School Technical Council and the Intensive Workshop for Continuing Teacher Education: Friday, May 31 and Friday, June 28. Outside of those two days, the school calendar does not contemplate any other days without classes before the vacations arrive.
what about adults? The next official day of rest will be until Monday, September 16 (that’s right, we’ll have a long weekend in national holidays). Subsequently, October 1 will be a holiday due to the transfer of the Federal Executive Power.
Finally, there will be no work on Monday, November 18 and Wednesday, December 25.
