Stop everything because the Night of Museums will have a special edition on Sunday, May 18! If you haven’t been to this event that usually takes place on the last Wednesday of the month, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for to join in.
The Museo del Estanquillo, Museo Vivo del Muralismo, Museo del Objeto del Objeto are some of the museums that are joining in with great activities. Here is a taste of what you can do.
Be careful, because this is only a special edition. The May Night of Museums scheduled for Wednesday 28th is still on.
1. National Watercolor Museum
Here there will be a guitar recital given by concert guitarist Orlando Fernández de Lara Mejía. It will be a show where watercolor and music will come together. Please note that the capacity is for 50 people.

Museum of the Inquisition
If you enjoy spooky activities, join the terror tours that take place in this precinct. Remember that the capacity is for 40 people and you need to make a reservation via WhatsApp (5646 4362 59 and 55 6198 1223).

3. MODE
At the Museo del Objeto del Objeto there will be an experience called Modopoly. The space will become a fun board game. Space is limited to 24 people and you have to register via email: contacto@elmodo.mx

4. Living Museum of Muralism
This Sunday the 18th you’ll see a living painting during Museum Night! The Benemérita Escuela Nacional de Maestros will present Cuadro Histórico Viviente Musical. It’s a show for 200 people, so anticipate your arrival.

5. Casa de Carranza Museum
Billie Elish present at the special Museum Night in May! This venue will be screening Billie Eilish. The world’s a little blurry, if you are a fan of this artist, run to chant her songs. Capacity limited to 80 people.

6. Lago Algo
This place joins the festivities and will be closing its doors until late. Run to visit it to see its current exhibition where you will explore art through light. Please note that you must register in advance here.

Remember that, in addition to the Night of Museums, the CDMX will celebrate with the Museum Fair. This is a festival where different venues will gather with a cultural and artistic program for all ages. It will take place in Plaza Tolsá and the Palacio de Minería in the Historic Center.
