Stop everything! Club Universidad Nacional, Pumas MX, will premiere a symphony and you can listen to it at the Sala NezahualcĂłyotl for only $100. This weekend the UNAM Philharmonic Orchestra will present it to honor the club’s 70th anniversary.
The work is called 1954 SinfonĂa de la pasiĂłn auriazul and was written by composer Rodrigo Valdez Hermoso. This piece is made up of three moments:
- “From the origin. Courage, impetus and heart”.
- “The light outlined the silhouette of the Estadio OlĂmpico Universitario; the tension for the battle could be perceived”.
- “Of future triumphs. Ode to the university spirit”
The symphony lasts 18 minutes and is part of a show OFUNAM Third season 2024. Program 8. That is why it is not the only performance included in the program, a couple more join it: Clarinet Concerto No. 1 in F minor, Op. 73 and Inferno, by Dante.
Tickets to listen to the Pumas’ symphony cost $100, 160 and $240. Please note that a 50% discount applies to students, teachers, INAPAM, as well as ISSSTE and IMSS retirees.
This concert will be held on đ Saturday 7 (20:00) and Sunday December 8 (12:00). Don’t worry if you can’t attend, Sunday’s show will be broadcast live on TV UNAM. If you are looking for what to do in December 2024, this is an option that won’t let you down.
