The ’90s gave us some of television’s most beloved sitcoms, but few managed to become as massive a cultural phenomenon as Friends™. Its characters, catchphrases, romances, and settings remain instantly recognizable decades later, and Central Perk has become one of those fictional places that practically everyone would love to visit.
For fans of the series and those nostalgic for the ’90s, The FRIENDS™ Experience offers just that: a trip into the world of Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe without leaving Mexico City. The experience recreates several of the sitcom’s most famous sets with interactive scenes where you can step inside, sit down, strike a pose, and relive some of the most memorable moments.
What will you find at The FRIENDS™ Experience?
The tour lasts approximately one hour and features life-size replicas of some of the show’s most beloved locations. Among the main sets are:
- ☕ Central Perk: Sit on the famous orange sofa and take the photo every Friends™ fan needs.
- 💜 Monica and Rachel’s apartment: step through the iconic purple door and explore their signature open kitchen.
- 🎮 Joey and Chandler’s apartment: relax in their recliners, play foosball, and look for Hugsy.
- 🛋️ The sofa move: relive the chaotic scene of Ross trying to haul a sofa up the stairs. The “PIVOT!” is up to you.
- 👕 Props and costumes: Discover various items and pieces inspired by the series, as well as other photo spots.
The experience is located at the Casino del Bosque in Chapultepec and is suitable for all ages. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and you can take photos and videos during the tour, though professional equipment and tripods are not permitted.
General admission tickets start at $175, depending on the date and availability. There are also options for large groups, school field trips, and private or corporate events. And there’s one reason not to put it off: The FRIENDS™ Experience is saying goodbye to Mexico City this month.
