It’s time to bring out your artistic side. On January 24 and 25, there will be a watercolor workshop in Chapultepec Forest. It is a free, outdoor activity where you can paint surrounded by nature.
These workshops are usually held every month in different areas of Chapultepec Forest. On this occasion, the venue will be the Fuente de la Templanza, located in the first section.
Access to the event is free and no prior registration is required; however, you must bring your own paintbrush.
What time will the watercolor workshop be held in Chapultepec Forest?
In January 2026, there will be two workshops: January 24 and 25. Both will start at 12:00 noon. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes, as the activity is outdoors.
This time, the activity will be taught by the Tlakuilo workshop. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never painted before; here you will learn several tips for this art. Just make sure to arrive early.
What other activities will there be in Chapultepec this weekend?
January is coming to an end, but there is still much to do in this forest in Mexico City. This Sunday, January 25, at 12:00 p.m., there will be a concert at the Audiorama. David García Hernández will perform, playing the piano in a performance not to be missed. Admission is free.
In addition, on Saturdays , January 24 and 31, there will be Tai Chi at 10:00 a.m. at the Nezahualcóyotl Fountain. The activity is also free.
Of course, we can’t leave out Light Cycles, an immersive experience that takes place in Rosario Castellanos Park. It consists of five multisensory zones where light and music offer a unique show. This activity does have a cost. You can get your tickets here.
