What is “We Call It Flamenco”?
It is an immersive experience born with the purpose of paying homage to the most famous Spanish music and dance in the world: flamenco. It will do so through four acts and many palos (different musical forms of flamenco) performed by a Spanish guitar and a cantaor (flamenco singer). All under the presence of hundreds of red roses that will merge with the movements of the dancer‘s splendid costume and shawl.
Flamenco, its styles and the show
You can’t talk about flamenco without talking about its palos. There are more than 50 of them and each uses its own rhythm and structure to capture the most intimate feelings: from anger and loneliness, to joy and pain. With “We Call It Flamenco.” you will discover six of these variants – such as bulería, fandango or soleá – and you will be part of the mythical “jaleo” clapping and cheering the artists. Olé, olé y olé!
