The magic of Christmas returns to Cenart with the Winter Lights Festival. This 2024 there will be Christmas concerts to commemorate the Christmas holidays. Here are the details.
The National Center for the Arts (Cenart) will host a series of Christmas concerts as part of the Winter Lights Festival 2024, which will take place from December 1 to 15.
Most of the concerts will be free of charge. Take a look at the complete program.
All about the Festival Luces de Invierno 2024 at Cenart
According to information from the venue, there will be six concerts in total. Here are the dates. They will begin this weekend:
- December 1 at 1:30 pm – Mexico at Christmas: all kinds of Mexican Christmas carols will be performed. The cost is $150 per person
- December 6 at 19:00 – Christmas Jazz: will be led by the Big Band Jazz Kids and Big Band Estudio. Free admission
- December 7 at 19:00 – Christmas is here!
- December 8 at 13:00 – Destellos de Navidad: free admission and on stage you will see the Orquesta Sinfónica de Coyoacán.
- December 14 at 13:30 – Luces de invierno (Winter Lights): the Orquesta Escuela Carlos Chávez will be the protagonist. Free admission
- December 15 at 1:30 p.m. – Christmas Concert. Selections from Handel’s Messiah: the Camerata Metropolitana will perform. Admission is $200
All concerts will be held at Cenart’s Blas Galindo Auditorium (Río Churubusco 79, Country Club Churubusco, Coyoacán). Are you going to miss them?
