In the Galerías Insurgentes shopping mall, a spooky house was installed that you’ll want to visit this Halloween. The horror experience lasts approximately 20 minutes, which will seem like an eternity. During the tour you will see the most horrifying creatures that will make your skin crawl. Are you up for it? 😰

2. Mórbido Film Fest

3. Scary movies at the Metro
Horror movies will be screened at Zapata subway station for Halloween. The billboard includes films such as “The Shining” and “Beetlejuice”. Check out the full schedule here and get your popcorn ready. 🍿

4. Boonightz
KidZania joins the list of activities in CDMX for Halloween 2024. Children and adults can attend the BooNightz, an edition with allusive activities, decorations and many surprises. On October 19 will be Noche de Amigos, the event where adults become kids again. Bring your best costume!

5. Candlelight: Day of the Dead with Apothic
It’s no secret that Candlelight concerts are an experience you must live at least once. Not only is it a musical spectacle illuminated by thousands of candles, but they are full of nostalgia and attract good memories.
During Halloween and Day of the Dead there will be a special edition where allusive songs will be played such as “Recuérdame” from the movie Coco, “Amor Eterno” by Juan Gabriel and even “Mis Muertos” by Julieta Venegas. Undoubtedly, it is a great place to think about those who are no longer in this plane of life. 🕯️

7. Night of legends
Xochimilco is a great option to visit during Day of the Dead and Halloween. Among the activities is the Night of Legends where monstrous creatures will tell you Mexican legends, while you ride through the canals in a trajinera. Then, you’ll arrive at a photo area with illuminated skulls; the tour concludes at the dreaded Isla de las Muñecas (Island of the Dolls).

8. Festival of Terror at Six Flags
One of the most anticipated Halloween events has already been confirmed: the Six Flags Horror Festival. As every year, you will be able to enter the haunted houses; this edition there will be one dedicated to The Conjuring movies.
Among the new installations is the Museum of Nightmares. This is a space where haunted and possessed objects that were collected by the Nightmare Society will be exhibited. Do you dare to enter? 🧙🏽 We remind you that there is also a children’s area called Kids Boo Fest.

9. Danza de la Llorona
The Philharmonic Orchestra of the Arts will present a dance performance about the legend of La Llorona. It will be a neoclassical style dance featuring the Dance Company of the Arts. 👻
