It’s time to get your Christmas spirit going! Here’s a list of Christmas villages in CDMX and nearby. They are perfect to take your kids, friends or go with your sweetheart. Undoubtedly, the ideal plan to make your photos look amazing.
1. Christmas in the Park
Although the details of this edition have not been released, we already know when the iconic Six Flags Christmas festival will take place. During 2023 we were able to see a lot of Christmas villages, special projections, bonfires and we even joined a parade where snow fell. We can’t wait any longer to find out what this year has in store for us.

2. BrillaFest in Atlixco
One of the most spectacular Christmas villages is located in Atlixco, Puebla, just three hours from CDMX. Since 2011, the BrillaFest surprises with the most innovative and magical of the season.
The festival will captivate you with attractions such as revolving tunnel, parades, pastorelas, posadas, pyrotechnics, little train and a lot of illuminated figures everywhere. 🎄

3. Polar District
In the region of Libres, Puebla, Distrito Polar returns this 2024. This is a Christmas experience where you will enjoy an illuminated village, take a train ride through the mountain and visit the enchanted forest.
The little ones will be able to meet Santa and leave their letter with wishes. There is also a piñata workshop, a living nativity scene, a movie theater with Christmas movies, Christmas carols and even an enchanted fairy forest.
La Cabaña del León is a lodging complex with cabins, so you can spend the night surrounded by Christmas magic.

4. Brilla Fest Naucalli
One of the closest illuminated villages to CDMX is in Naucalli Park. It is the Brilla Fest, a festival of Christmas lights with four exhibits that will captivate your whole family.
Among the most anticipated attractions are the rotating tunnel and the enchanted forest show. This 2024, in addition, you will be amazed by an incredible show called the Great Nikolaus The Legend Show. So put on your ugly sweater because you will experience the true Christmas spirit. The best thing is that you will be able to buy a nice gift at the Christmas market.

5. Illuminated Night World in Chignahuapan
The Chignahuapan Lagoon, in Puebla, was filled with color and lots (but lots) of Christmas lights. Illuminated Night World is a show of artistic lighting and monumental pieces full of magic.
You will see spheres, sleigh, tunnels and many giant works to enjoy with the family. The flagship installation is a huge, luminous Christmas pine tree. This place is ideal to put very ad hoc your social media photos.

6. Christmas in the Mountains
One of the Christmas villages that are closest to CDMX is Christmas in the Mountains in Naucalpan. It is a villa that illuminates the forest with Christmas lights and figures. Best of all, during the entire event, there is a masterful pyrotechnics show.
Christmas in the Mountains 2024 has gotcha, zip line and selfie spots. You can also warm up in the bonfire area. Christmas carols will not be missing, as there will be Christmas concerts.
