For runners who love Christmas! The Flor de Noche Buena race is coming to Xochimilco, an incredible sporting event full of fun, the joy of running and Christmas spirit to celebrate this holiday season with a fun route.

When will be the Christmas Eve race in Xochimilco?
Get your Santa Claus outfit ready because the running world will get very Christmasy with the Christmas Eve race in Xochimilco that will be on December 21, 2025 at 8:00 am.
This incredible Christmas event will be in the Xochimilco Ecological Park, with start and finish line next to the Flor de Chinampas Museum so you can run among the canals of the south of the CDMX and the fresh morning air.
In addition, as its name suggests, this race celebrates the Christmas Eve flower that is so symbolic in the holiday season, so when you reach the finish line you will receive a flower pot as a gift.
The distance is 5 kilometers for adults and the children’s category; if speed is not your thing, don’t worry! Because you can jog or walk along the route so you can enjoy the course in your own way.
The wonderful runner’s kit that will be given out on December 20 includes a full print T-shirt with a poinsettia theme, number, finisher’s medal and an ecological bag. All participants will be provided with a checkroom, medical service, recovery kit and hydration.
