During the Christmas season several CDMX mayors’ offices will have free ice rinks, where you can skate and have fun for a while. The best thing is that you don’t need to be an expert to go.
We are running out of 2025. As in other years, some ice rinks were installed in Mexico City. We bring you the location of each one for you to visit. Remember that they will only be there for the Christmas season.
These are the CDMX’s cities with free ice rinks
- Azcapotzalco: it is located in the esplanade of the mayor’s office and you can visit it from Monday to Sunday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It will be available until January 7. There is also a Christmas bazaar next to it.
- Cuauhtémoc: it will be from December 16 to 31 at the esplanade of the mayor’s office (Aldama and Mina S/N, colonia Buenavista). You can go skating from Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. On December 25 and 31 it will be open from 10:00 to 16:00 hours.
- Iztapalapa: it is located in the Macroplaza of Iztapalapa and was inaugurated on December 15.
- Miguel Hidalgo: the ice rink is located at the Pérgola Cultural del Deportivo Pavón. You can visit it from December 14 to January 4, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on weekdays and from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
