Dust off your jacket because these days we will feel the effects of Cold Front 10 in the CDMX. There will be rain and low temperatures; even high parts of some states will have snow and sleet.
According to information from the National Meteorological Service (SMN), this cold front and its cold air mass will cause both rains and a cool to mild atmosphere in central Mexico.
This is how Cold Front 10 affects the CDMX
The SMN explained that for this Wednesday we will have rains and showers in CDMX, as well as a maximum temperature of up to 21 degrees.
Regarding Thursday, November 21, there will be isolated showers in CDMX, as well as a maximum temperature of 20 to 22 degrees. In fact, snow or sleet is forecast to fall in very high areas in the center of the country, such as the Nevado de Toluca and Popocatepetl.
In addition, we recommend driving with extreme caution, as it is likely that fog or frost will be present during the morning.
Isolated rains in CDMX will continue on Friday, November 22; as well as fog banks in the morning.
Before going to sleep, cover yourself with a double blanket, especially if you live in a high area of CDMX, because in the early morning of Thursday 21, Friday 22, Saturday 23, Sunday 24 and Monday 25 November we will have minimum temperatures from 0 to 5 degrees Celsius.
This is only the 10th cold front; during the 2024-2025 season, at least 48 of these systems are expected.
December and January with eight cold fronts each will be the coldest months of the season. Even December will have one winter storm and January 2025 will have two.
