1. University Museum of Sciences and Arts, MUCA
This space is focused on the dissemination of art, research, humanities and sciences. The exhibitions and activities of this museum reflect multidisciplines about these fields.
In the program you will find collaborative projects between faculties and departments of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Get ready for a journey through bibliographic collections, art collections and more. 🖼️

2. Universum
This is one of the representative museums of CU. The Universum is a science outreach center that uses different resources to talk about space, the ocean, evolution, biodiversity and even the body. 🚀
There are permanent, temporary and traveling exhibitions. In addition to a theater, planetarium and even a library. Go without haste so you have a chance to see all its spaces; you will see fossils, digital projections and some interactive installations. The little ones are the ones who enjoy this museum the most. 🔬

3. MUAC
What do you mean you still don’t know the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de la UNAM? Take this as a pretext to visit it as soon as possible. Here the work of national and international artists is presented. There are permanent and temporary exhibitions, as well as activities that invite you on an artistic journey. 👩🏽🎨
The exhibitions will make you reflect on social, environmental and political issues, making use of digital and technological resources, recycled materials, illustrations, photographs and many other elements. A plus? The architecture of the MUAC is one of the most surprising aspects.

4. National Biodiversity Pavilion
Here you will see part of the collection and research of the Institute of Biology of the UNAM. You will discover how is life, anatomy and curiosities about the fauna and ecosystems of Mexico; from fish and reptiles, to birds and wood. 🐊
There are six main rooms, projection of audiovisual materials, laboratories and an exhibition of more than 3 thousand specimens. 🦋

5. Sculptural Space
This is not a museum as such, as it is a work of art in itself. The Sculpture Space should not be missing in your route through Ciudad Universitaria; it presents a series of 64 prismatic sculptures surrounding a circular stone base. The form shelters what was once a lake of volcanic lava, now petrified. 🌋
Here you will appreciate abstract and geometric art, an artistic movement of the late 1970s and early 1990s. In addition, you will see six works that allude to the pre-Hispanic cosmos. The vegetation and natural landscapes are a key point that make this, one of the most impressive places in CU.

6. Manuel H. Sarvide Museum of Veterinary Anatomopathology
This is one of the least known museums in CU. Promoted by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics, here you will see 556 pieces of species that suffered injuries such as infectious, nutritional, traumatic, congenital diseases, among other pathological alterations. 🦠
The biological material is maintained thanks to a conservation technique called plastination; you will learn more about it in the museum. This enclosure is mainly visited by biology and veterinary students. However, it is open to the general public.
