The Day of the Dead has finally arrived! And one of the unmissable plans is undoubtedly the Day of the Dead party at Lago Algo and its incredible ofrenda.
Lago Algo has joined forces with The Dream Alliance and artist Pandora Graessl to create an altar of the dead as a space for commemoration and reflection.
Their beautiful and highly original Day of the Dead ofrenda features lattice flowers and four tiers of granite divided by recycled concrete columns.
In addition to having beans, corn, pan de muerto, water, salt and of course, tequila to welcome the dead. The decoration is completed with ceramic figures by Perla Valtierra and xoloitzcuintles clay dogs.
This altar is dedicated to different characters such as Carla Porset, Adolfo Riestra, Mathias Goertiz, Juan O’Gorman, Agustin Hernandez, Ana Mandieta, Octavio Paz and Emiliano Zapata.
To complete the experience, this cultural center will throw an incredible Day of the Dead party at Lago Algo on Saturday, November 2.
