Let’s pamper your palate! For two days you can enjoy the gastronomic sample of mushrooms in the Chapultepec Forest Festival 2025. Take advantage of the Easter vacations to go.
This Thursday, April 17 officially kicks off the Festival del Bosque 2025, an event that will bring everything: giant mushrooms, night picnic, concerts, night activities and many more surprises.
The theme of the Spora Festival will be mushrooms, so there will also be a gastronomic exhibition where you can taste incredible dishes. Are you going to miss it?
When will the gastronomic sample of the Forest Festival 2025 be?
The gastronomic show will be held at the Los Pinos Cultural Complex (Molino del Rey 252, first section of the Chapultepec Forest, in the municipality of Miguel Hidalgo). In fact, there will be a special edition of Cocinas de Humo, which will focus on mushrooms.
The event will take place on April 17 and 18 at Cencalli, in the Los Pinos Cultural Complex. Iconic dishes such as tamales with mushrooms in red sauce, itacates with huitlacoche, huitlacoche mole and black pozole, mushroom birria and more will be offered.
You’ll also try smoked mushrooms, as well as cuernitos de milanesa and even mushroom tacos. The variety will be great. The gastronomic show will be from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission to the event is free.
Another venue will be Lago Algo, whose menu will offer four dishes with mushrooms from April 14 to 20.
