La Rifa Chocolatería is famous for transforming cocoa from the Mexican southeast into chocolate, so if you are looking for something more natural, this is the right place on the list of hot chocolate in CDMX.
Here they take very seriously the flavor that comes out of the container of your drink, so La Rifa’s hot chocolate will be served in handmolded pieces of burnished clay by master artisans from Los Reyes Metzontla, Puebla.
These containers, besides being beautiful, keep the hot chocolate at the right temperature to nourish you, comfort you and not burn you.

Looking for a place where you can have a delicious hot chocolate in CDMX and also pamper your furry friend? Café My Love is the right place.
This little hidden gem in the Del Valle neighborhood is a 100% pet friendly cafe perfect for home office and sunbathing while sipping a hot Oaxacan chocolate with chocolates for the heart. You can add chocolate chips and liquid chocolate if you wish.
Here you will find new and original flavors such as bunny espresso, a chocomenta frappé, or maybe what you crave the most is a marzipan latte.

3. Tout Chocolat
If you are a chocolate lover, you will surely recognize this member of the hot chocolate list in CDMX. Tout Chocolat is a famous chocolate shop, bakery and pastry shop in La Condesa.
The hot chocolate here is not to be missed and you can try it with homemade marshmallows. The best part? You can choose between different percentages of cocoa for your drink.

4. Churrería El Moro
A classic of classics. This place is one of the favorite places to find hot chocolate in CDMX since 1935. The first branch is located in the Historic Center, but fortunately today we can find many branches distributed in different parts of the city.
In Churrería El Moro, besides being able to eat delicious churros, you will find different types of chocolate, such as Mexican chocolate which is traditional and light, Spanish chocolate which is sweet and thick, French chocolate with vanilla, bitter chocolate, water chocolate and white chocolate.

5. Kardelen Café de Arena
There is a coffee shop in the Naples that is famous for its sand coffee and for having international and Middle Eastern spices on its menu.
However, you can’t miss Kardelen’ s hot chocolate . The best part? You can bring your doggie, as it is a pet friendly place.
