If you’re looking for Instagram-worthy, delicious, and cuddly places, Emilia Café is the winning option. It’s a coffee shop where they serve specialty coffees and teas. They work in collaboration with Aloisia, a guarantee that you will find quality herbs and flowers, as well as imported products from China, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Africa and Taiwan. The menu offers relaxing teas, tisanes and moon milk (tea-based latte) ideal for before bedtime. This place also has a dessert menu and sandwiches. A perfect place to brunch.

2. Somsaa
A tea house that pays homage to Asian flavors and traditions. Somsaa, the sister restaurant of Galanga Thai House, is the recent opening of chef Somsri Raksamran. It is an intimate and charming space where, through the palate, you will be given a tour of different regions and countries of Asia. Of course, the tea ritual, served in a beautiful set of traditional teapot and cups, is a must if you visit this place. Ask about the teas available.

3. Aloisia
Aloisia, the tea garden, is one of our favorite places to drink tea in CDMX. There are also herbal or fruity tisanes, signature blends, as well as seasonal flavors and relaxing options. Here you will find Asian products and herbs. Undoubtedly, it is one of the most acclaimed tea houses because, in addition to flavor, it is a nice place to make an authentic ceremony. Best of all, they offer special activities such as workshops and tastings to learn about the mysteries of this beverage.

4. Azo-Tea
A teaspeakeasy? Yes, and although we can’t reveal the exact location, we can tell you that it’s in the Historic Center. Azo-Tea is a place that works as a pop up. That is to say, they do experiences eventually and, in effect, the tea ceremonies are on a rooftop. Here you will drink in the traditional Chinese way (Gong Fu Cha “工夫茶); you will taste products from Kenya, Japan, India, Colombia and other regions.

One of the most beloved tea houses in CDMX is La esquina del té in La Condesa. Since 2002, sommeliers work together to offer the most delicious products, guarantee of experience and knowledge on the subject. White, black and green teas, blends, tisanes, oolong, rooibos and cocktails are some of the varieties that will delight you. It should be noted that this site, in addition to offering quality products, organizes tastings and activities that tealovers love.
