You can already visit the Day of the Dead illuminated figures on Paseo de la Reforma! The International Festival of Lights (Filux) will be joined by skulls, monumental skeletons and even a couple of illuminated tunnels.
Day of the Dead 2025 is just around the corner and Paseo de la Reforma is already covered with marigolds and allusive sculptures. It is a series of large-format illuminated pieces that transformed this avenue.
Get your camera ready and run to see pieces such as a xoloitzcuintle and several glowing skeletons. Of course, don’t miss the magical tunnels.

Among the works, the monumental catrina by artist Gustavo Ríos stands out; it is 9.5 meters tall and has 150,000 LED lights!
In addition to the Day of the Dead collection, you will see 14 installations by Filux: a work dedicated to Coatlicue, a floating moon and even a colorful salamander.
It has not yet been confirmed when the Day of the Dead figures will be mounted on Paseo de la Reforma. What we do know is that the Filux will remain until October 29th.
Either way, don’t waste time and run to capture a night postcard. The sculptures will be lit from 7:00 pm.
Everything you can see in Paseo de la Reforma this season.

In addition to the luminous show, the pieces that participated in the Parade of Monumental Alebrijes 2025 will be exhibited in this avenue.
It is worth mentioning that Reforma will be the stage for the most important events of the season, such as the Day of the Dead Parade, the Mega Procession of the Catrinas and the Day of the Dead Night Walk.
