Day of the Dead is one of the biggest holidays in all of Mexico and it is right around this time (and Christmas) when there are events everywhere. This Wednesday, September 24, the details of La Catrina Fest MX 2025, a cultural festival dedicated to the holiday, were announced.
This time it will be held from October 7 to November 6. It will have several venues in CDMX, however the main one will be Aztlán, in the Chapultepec Forest.
La Catrina Fest MX will come to Chapultepec this 2025
According to a press release, this Day of the Dead festival in Chapultepec will bring several unmissable activities. For example, on October 19 there will be a parade, which will depart from the Calzada Flotante de Los Pinos and will have Aztlán as its goal.
In addition, the fair will present a new house of scares called “Hacienda Maldita”, where Mexican legends will be recreated. If horror experiences are your thing, this is for you.
Of course, there will also be Day of the Dead offerings. They will be installed in the Paseo de los Compositores on November 1 and 2; the main theme will be dedicated to the composers who are no longer with us.
In addition, we will see circus-catrinas parades every weekend and many other activities. There will even be a gastronomic tour in Aztlán.
As we mentioned above, this Day of the Dead festival will have several venues. In addition to Aztlán and Chapultepec, there will be activities at the Universidad de la Comunicación, Teatro Centenario Coyoacán and Cine Lindo.
