Garden of the Fonoteca Nacional
The Fonoteca is a place where the sound heritage of our country is kept, including sounds of live experiences and part of the radio tradition. One of the must-see spaces of the precinct is its sound garden, where you can relax while listening to some of the recordings of the collection.
According to the Fonoteca Nacional, the garden’s design was created by Kees van Rooij, a Dutch artist. You can visit the place from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 19:00 hours, as well as Saturdays from 10:00 to 18:00 hours.

Garden of the Japanese Mexican Association
Did you know that the Japanese Mexican Association has a restaurant? Just as you read it. In this place they offer different traditional dishes from the Land of the Rising Sun. Something that calls the attention of the place is that it has a Japanese garden, which has a pond and a small waterfall. You will feel like you are on the other side of the world while you eat.
The restaurant serves from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Casa de la Bola
On Parque Lira you will find this place, which occupies part of what used to be the Villa de San José de Tacubaya. The whole place stands out for its architecture; however, you should not miss the gardens, which have fountains and sculptures.

Chapultepec Botanical Garden
This garden is not so secret, but it is a fact that not all people know about it. Here you will find hundreds of plants, including 200 species of orchids. It is an ideal place to walk around and get to know a great part of the vegetation that exists in Mexico.
You can visit it from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 15:00 hours.

Bicentennial Park Orchidarium
Parque Bicentenario is an extensive green area. Inside you will see greenhouses, gardens and even an orchid garden. Each of these spaces has different plants and flowers. You will feel like you are in another place, far away from CDMX. It also has a small labyrinth.
It is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Admission is free.
