El Cantoral, a venue dedicated to music

Opened in June 2012, the Roberto Cantoral Cultural Center was created by the Mexican Society of Authors and Composers to promote music and recognize the work of those who create it.
The venue is named after Mexican composer Roberto Cantoral, author of iconic songs such as “El reloj” and “La barca.” Since its opening, it has hosted concerts and performances across various musical genres, as well as cultural activities.
Its contemporary architecture, designed by Gerardo Broissin, features five concrete structures that evoke the lines of a musical staff. The hall boasts acoustics designed to deliver a refined listening experience and a capacity for approximately 850 people.
