animals made from recycled materials? Just like you read it! A white-tailed deer and a Mexican wolf are the new sculptures to be found in this museum the first one is about seven meters high, while the wolf is four meters high.
The pieces are permanent and will welcome attendees, as well as fill the lobbywith color. Because yes, these animals are full of color and are made up of different objects; a combination of materials, shapes and textures make them unique works.
The work was carried out by artists, sculptors and designers of the el Volador workshop who are located in Iztapalapa (where the museum is located).
But why choose these species? They are in danger of extinction due to sport hunting! It should also be remembered that awareness of climate change and the preservation of nature are among the main themes that Yancuic promotes.
It should be noted that the wolf and the deer are not the only giant figures in the Yancuic Museum. Here you will also see a salamander and a jaguar that are over three meters tall. Have you met them yet?
