When this time of the year arrives, we get ready to try as much pan de muerto as possible. To celebrate this icon of Mexican baking that is full of flavor and tradition, the popular pan de muerto festival in Coyoacán is back.
This is the Festival of Coffee, Mexican Chocolate and Pan de Muerto; it will have two dates to wrap yourself in the aromas of the Day of the Dead celebrations and let your palate take you straight to Mictlán.
When and where will the Coyoacán Pan de Muerto Festival be held?
This year, this event will immerse in delicious aromas at the Churubusco Convention Center (Calzada de Tlalpan 1721, a few steps from the General Anaya subway,) because there will be the festival of pan de muerto on October 25 and 26.
On both days, the hours will be from 11:00 to 19:00 so you will have plenty of time to browse through the varieties of pan de muerto and the sale of Day of the Dead themed products. Admission is free and open to the public.

There will be local bakery, artisan chocolate and freshly brewed coffee because a good pan de muerto is always best enjoyed with a warm, traditional beverage.
To find your favorite pan de muerto proposal, we suggest you go with enough space in your belly, so you can try a little of all the variety that will be available.
In addition to food, this Coyoacán pan de muerto festival will also feature handicrafts and handmade products made by local communities.
And as this festival seeks to celebrate the traditions of the season to the fullest, you will also see wonderful artistic presentations that highlight the identity and culture characteristic of the season.
