Just as you read it: the first events for October 2026 in Mexico City have already begun to be confirmed. One of them is the now-traditional Mega Catrinas Procession, which seeks to promote and preserve the traditions of the Day of the Dead. We already have a date and even a route for this year’s event. Just like in previous years, there will be makeup artists on hand to apply makeup to anyone who wishes to participate. Makeup services will be available at various price points.
The route will run from the Angel of Independence to Mexico City’s Zócalo. According to the organizers, the procession will begin at 6:00 p.m. and is expected to arrive at the Plaza de la Constitución at 8:30 p.m.
It’s one of the November 2026 events you can’t miss. Right during the Day of the Dead season, the 2025 Snoopy Race will take place, featuring three distances: 3, 5, and 10 km. Have you started training yet?
The Formula 1® Experience has extended its dates! Now you can visit it through September 20. You’ll explore its entire history and see helmets as well as original race cars. It’s a very interactive experience.
We already have a date for the 2026 parade of monumental alebrijes! It will start at Mexico City’s Zócalo and end at the Angel of Independence. Afterward, an exhibition will be heldon Reforma Avenue from October 17 to November 8, where you’ll see the pieces that participated in the parade. Get your camera ready because you’ll be taking lots of photos.
The parade will pass through streets such as 5 de Mayo, Juárez, and Paseo de la Reforma. You’ll be able to watch it from anywhere along the route. Just arrive early to get a good spot.
Mexico City Marathon

It will cover a distance of 42 km, and the starting point will be Insurgentes Avenue between the Central Library and the University Olympic Stadium. The finish line will be located at the Zócalo in Mexico City.
